Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 March 2026

These terms of service apply to your use of the Kent Resin Driveways website and the services we offer. By accessing our website or using our services, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About Us

2. Use of Our Website

Our website is to be used for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Use the website in a manner that violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Transmit unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional content via the website
  • Try to gain unauthorised access to our website, servers, or any associated databases
  • Use the website in any way that may damage, disable, or degrade its performance

3. Quotations and Pricing

  • All quotations are supplied free of charge and carry no obligation
  • Quotes remain valid for 30 days from the date they are issued, unless stated otherwise
  • Quoted prices cover materials, labour, and standard site clearance unless specified otherwise
  • Extra charges may arise if unexpected work is needed (e.g. unforeseen sub-base problems). We will always consult with you regarding any additional costs before going ahead
  • VAT will be shown clearly where it applies

4. Our Services

Scope of work

The full scope of work will be confirmed in writing prior to commencing any project. This will detail the surface type, aggregate selection, coverage area, and any preparatory work needed.

Site survey

A complimentary site survey is conducted before we issue a quotation. This enables us to evaluate the existing surface condition, take measurements, and talk through your requirements face to face.

Preparation work

Thorough preparation is key to achieving a long-lasting finish. Our quotation will outline the preparation work included. This generally encompasses cleaning, repairs, or installation of a suitable sub-base.

5. Booking and Scheduling

  • After you accept a quotation, we will arrange a mutually convenient start date
  • Start dates depend on weather conditions. Resin bound surfaces cannot be installed during wet or freezing weather
  • If a date needs to be rescheduled because of weather or unexpected circumstances, we will notify you at the earliest opportunity
  • The majority of domestic projects are finished within 1 to 3 working days

6. Payment Terms

  • A deposit may be needed to confirm your booking. The deposit figure will be detailed in your quotation
  • The remaining balance becomes payable once the work has been satisfactorily completed
  • Payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque, or cash
  • Full payment in advance of the work starting is not required

7. Guarantee

  • Every installation is backed by a workmanship guarantee. The length and conditions of the guarantee will be set out in writing
  • The guarantee applies to faults in workmanship and materials during normal use
  • Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, vehicle impact, chemical spills, or unauthorised modifications is not covered by the guarantee
  • Any guarantee claims should be brought to our attention at the earliest opportunity

8. Cancellations

Your right to cancel

If the contract was agreed at your home or away from our business premises, you are entitled to cancel within 14 days in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. To exercise this right, please notify us in writing via email or post.

Cancellation after work has started

Should you cancel once work is already underway, you will be responsible for covering the cost of any completed work and materials already ordered. We will supply a clear and fair breakdown of these charges.

9. Customer Responsibilities

In order for us to complete the work, you agree to:

  • Ensure unobstructed access to the work area
  • Remove vehicles and personal items from the work area ahead of the agreed start date
  • Let us know about any underground services (pipes, cables, drains) that you are aware of
  • Ensure children and pets are kept away from the work area throughout the installation
  • Refrain from walking or driving on the new surface until we have confirmed it is ready for use

10. Aftercare

Aftercare instructions will be provided once your installation is finished. To keep your surface in top condition:

  • Do not drive on the surface for a minimum of 24 hours following installation (or as directed)
  • Wash periodically using a garden hose or pressure washer on a gentle setting
  • Deal with any weeds at the edges as soon as they appear
  • Do not apply harsh chemicals, solvents, or de-icing salts to the surface

11. Limitation of Liability

We exercise every reasonable precaution to deliver a high-quality result. However:

  • Natural aggregates can exhibit minor variations in colour and texture. This is an inherent feature of the material and not a defect
  • We accept no liability for damage arising from extreme weather, subsidence, or ground movement that is beyond our control
  • Our total liability is limited to the contract value of the work performed
  • Nothing in these terms restricts or excludes our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, or for fraud

12. Intellectual Property

Your complaint will be acknowledged within 2 working days, and we will endeavour to resolve it within 14 working days.

14. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised periodically. Any amendments will be published on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of our website or services following any changes indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.
